Golf Swing Training - Pause

For this particular training session, hit a small bucket of balls, as it should take you a while to get through them.

The Pause Drill: Start your backswing and pause about two-thirds back. Count to one and complete your swing to hit the ball.

If you use your hands, you will over accelerate and most likely hit the ground behind the ball. Instead, you must turn your body's center through the ball without flipping your wrists.

Remember the concept of how you move a shopping trolley? This drill trains you moving and the trolley moving with you, rather than pushing at the trolley.
