Golf Swing Training-Re-centering
Updated: Mar 20
The golf swing consists of lateral movement both on the backswing and the downswing.
Anything other than this is not an athletic motion.
This lateral motion, along with rotation, side bend, and extension, allows for the re-centering movement from the top, which will enable you to produce rotation in the angular section of the downswing.
It's the movement that gets the downswing swing sequence correct; the ground forces correct, which in turn produces speed which in turn creates the distance
It's this rotation that then keeps the clubface stable through impact.
Rocco Mediate demonstrates the motion - He didn't play Tiger Woods for the US Open through luck!
